Urgent Closure of: A350 (part), Melksham

WILTSHIRE COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 22 May 2023, the following length of road shall be closed to all

traffic in the interests of public safety to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out urgent carriageway resurfacing and

associated works

A350 (part), Melksham; from its junction with Avon Road to its junction with A350 Lackham College To Lackham

Roundabout.

Alternative route: via A350 (unaffected length) - A4 - A365 - A350 (unaffected length) and vice versa.

The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be maintained for

residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

These works will commence on 23 May 2023 to 27 May between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 and 30 May to 02

June between the hours of 19:00 to 06:00 for a total of 7 nights. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 21

days.
