** WILTSHIRE COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE**


Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) for C395 (Part), & Portal Rd Melksham Without commencing 23rd February 2023.


Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Temporary Closure of C395 (Part) and Portal Road, Melksham Without (Ref: TTRO 8551)


Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:


A) C395 (Part), Melksham Without; from its roundabout junction with A350 to its roundabout junction with Semington Road.


B) Portal Road, Melksham Without; from its roundabout junction with A350 to its roundabout junction with Westinghouse Way.


To enable: Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing, replacement of road markings, adjustment of ironworks, and associated works on Hampton Park roundabout, Melksham Without.


Alternative route A: via A350 – Semington Road and vice versa.


Alternative route B: via C400 – A365 – A350 and vice versa.


The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.


This Order which previously came into operation on 01 December 2022 will now recommence on 23 February 2023 and the closures will be required between

the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 on weeknights until 28 February 2023.


It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.


The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months.
