Melksham Town Council Is Changing the Way We Live Stream Meetings

Melksham Town Council is committed to improving transparency, accessibility, and public engagement. As part of this commitment, we are changing the way we live stream our meetings.

From now on, all council meetings will be live streamed via Microsoft Teams. This allows residents to join remotely and follow discussions in real time from the comfort of their own homes. A link to join each meeting will be published in advance on our website and social media channels.

If you’re unable to attend a meeting live, the recording will be uploaded to our YouTube channel within 48 hours. You can access the channel here:

Melksham Town Council Welcomes New Mayor

Melksham Town Council is pleased to announce the appointment of the new Town Mayor and Deputy Mayor.

Following their election at the Annual Meeting of Full Council held on Monday 12th May 2025.

Councillor Saffi Rabey of Melksham North Ward has been elected as Town Mayor, and Councillor Jennie Westbrook of Melksham Forest Ward has been appointed as Deputy Mayor for the 2025/2026 municipal year.

At the same meeting, membership of all Town Council Committees and Working Groups was reviewed, with Chairs confirmed.
