Co-opted Councillor, Amy Whitlock appointed to Amenities & Facilities Committee
Melksham Town Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Councillor Amy Whitlock to the Amenities & Facilities Committee, following a resolution made at the Full Council Meeting on Monday, 12 January.
Amy joined the Council before Christmas through a co-option process, which allows the Council to appoint new members outside the usual election cycle. This approach ensures that the Council can bring in fresh perspectives and specialist knowledge to strengthen decision-making and support local initiatives.
Councillor Whitlock’s appointment to the Amenities & Facilities Committee will help drive improvements to the town’s services and facilities, ensuring they meet the needs of residents and enhance community life.
Melksham Town Council looks forward to working with Councillor Whitlock as part of its ongoing mission to deliver high-quality amenities and a vibrant, inclusive town for all.
