Melksham Town Council is based in the Town Hall which is conveniently located in the Market Place, in the centre of Melksham. The Town Hall is used for council offices and meetings, and can also be hired for private meetings and functions.

Melksham Town Council manages two venues that are available for private hire, including for corporate events; The Assembly Hall and The Town Hall.

1926 - 2022
It is with immense sadness that we have learned of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Her reign has demonstrated an impeccable example of a constitutional monarchy, and her service to her nation and to us, her subjects, has been unrivalled.
As we enter a period of mourning, we will reflect upon her extraordinary life and the impact her service has had on us all. The flag above Town Hall will be flown at half-mast. If you wish you may leave flowers in the market square, and a book of condolence is placed in the Town Hall.
My prayers are with the whole family, and especially with our new King.
