Under The Freedom of Information Act and Environmental Information Regulations, members of the public have the right to access recorded information held by public authorities, like Melksham Town Council. How to make a request
To make a Freedom of Information Request from Melksham Town Council, we kindly ask that you contact our dedicated team via email at committee.clerk@melksham-tc.gov.uk, by post or completing the form on our contact us page and selecting FOI. We have up to 20 working days to complete your request, but we will keep you updated to ensure full transparency throughout the process.

How to request a review
If you are dissatisfied with the response to your request, you have 40 working days from our response to request a review from our reviewing officer. The officer will be independent of the original decision and their name and contact details will be included within your response to allow you to easily get in touch.
We aim to send a decision, along with an explanation and if required, some or all of the information that has been requested, within 20 working days from the date of request.
