Melksham’s 2025 Christmas Window Competition results have been announced.
We are excited to reveal that this year’s winners are Two Little Ducks, Tile & Bathroom Centre, and The Cobbler’s Bench. These three businesses collaborated to create a unified display featuring The Melksham Express, a charming, wooden train that travels across each shopfront, connecting into one scene.
The impact and effort put into these display’s were not only noticed by our judges, who visited each entrant in December, but also by members of the community who have been impressed by the creativity of the amazing local businesses in our town. The winning businesses gave a heartfelt thank you to Harry James Wallington, from The Mad Brit Woodworking who kindly volunteered his time to craft the standout train.
On January 6th 2026, Melksham’s Mayor visited all three businesses to officially pass over the prestigious shield which is competed for year after year. All three winning names have now been engraved into the history of Melksham’s Christmas Window Competition, and we congratulate everyone involved in bringing this rememberable display to life.
Second place was awarded to Melksham Arcade 8 for their intricate design featuring delicate paper chains, gifts wrapped in music sheets, and a standout moon feature that tied the display together beautifully. In third place, Goughs Solicitors were recognised for their sustainability in building a Coca Cola truck from recycled drinks cans.
Melksham Town Council thanks every business that joined in on spreading Christmas joy to our high street with their festive window displays. Businesses participating in the window competitions all play a part in helping to keep Melksham looking vibrant and welcoming.
