On Friday 6th March 2026, from 18:00 in Market Place, Free The Night will bring an electrifying glow‑in‑the‑dark march through Melksham Town Centre. Melksham Town Council is proud to be working in partnership with FearFree and Still Sisters to support this powerful event calling for a more equal and safer world for women. The march will feature live music and entertainment as we walk together from Market Place to Evie’s Kitchen in King George V Playing Fields for refreshments.
Ahead of the event, walkers are invited to join us for a free, creative and empowering banner‑making workshop. All ages and abilities are welcome. This workshop will bring our community together to design meaningful, impactful banners that reflect the event’s message of safety, equality, and empowerment for women.

Some materials will be provided by Melksham Town Council, however we are asking attendees to bring old bedsheets, paints or bamboo sticks if possible please.
