A place to unwind and feel at home, The Hiding Place is committed to creating a welcoming community hub rooted in warmth, connection, and local values.
This cosy, family run micro pub, located along Melksham high street, offers a relaxed atmosphere perfect for friendly chats over craft beers, ciders, spirits, wines, or locally sourced coffee. Since taking over in December 2025, Max and Shari have continued to build an inviting space where people can meet for a drink, work remotely, connect with others, or take part in community events.
Dedicated to supporting fellow local businesses, The Hiding Place partners with local suppliers wherever possible. Whether that’s the coffee they serve or the gin on their shelves, there expanding range of local products draws conversation and connection.
The Hiding Place also host a wide range of activities to engage the community and bond relationships. Fboard game afternoons and quiz nights to Work From Home Wednesdays, there’s always something to get involved with at The Hiding Place.
