Melksham Town Council is seeking an innovative, forward-thinking, and proactive Responsible Finance Officer (RFO) to manage the Council’s day-to-day finances and deputise for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in their absence.
The RFO will oversee financial planning, budget monitoring, audits, payroll, risk management, and compliance, ensuring the Council meets all financial and statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, numerate, and experienced in local government or a similar environment, with a recognised financial qualification.
