Venues Manager, Melksham Town Council

Full time

Melksham Town Council is seeking a dynamic, people-focused, and forward-thinking Venues Manager to lead the operational management. This is a leadership position responsible for delivering safe, inclusive, and high-performing community venues that reflect the aspirations of the town.

The successful candidate will also act as the Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) for the council, ensuring full compliance with licensing laws and promoting responsible management of all licensable activities.

Project Manager, Melksham Town Council

Full time

Melksham Town Council is seeking an experienced and visionary Project Manager to help drive forward our strategic priorities and deliver real impact for the community.

This is a full-time leadership role offering the opportunity to shape major council projects, oversee key partnerships, and lead a high-performing team.
As Project Manager, you’ll:

  • Provide strong, visible, and strategic leadership across council projects, facilities, and partnerships.
  • Deliver transformation programmes that improve services and outcomes for the people of Melksham.

Casual Venue Assistants – Melksham Assembly Hall

Part-Time, Flexible Hours 

Are you passionate about hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service. We have an exciting opportunity for you! We are recruiting for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Casual Venue Assistants.

As a Venue Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our operations run seamlessly. Your responsibilities will include assisting with bar service, setting up events, and providing exceptional customer service to guarantee that every guest has an outstanding experience.

We are seeking individuals with experience in hospitality, bar work, and customer service.  What matters most is a positive and professional attitude, along with strong communication skills. The ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment and the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and events as needed are also essential.
