Casual Bar Staff – Melksham Assembly Hall

Part-Time, Flexible Hours | £12.50/hr

Join our team at Melksham Assembly Hall as a Casual Bar Staff member, supporting public and private events. Responsibilities include serving customers, maintaining a clean venue, and assisting with event setup and breakdown.

Ideal for friendly, proactive individuals with excellent customer service skills and a team-focused attitude.

Safeguarding & Welfare Commitment

Melksham Town Council is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment to safeguarding, ensuring a safe environment for everyone in our care.

As part of this, all applicants for roles involving direct contact with children, young people, or vulnerable adults will be required to undergo a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before any appointment is confirmed. This ensures that we can maintain the highest standards of safety within the community. Exemption from the Rehabilitations of Offenders Act 1974:

All posts involving direct contact with children are exempt from the Rehabilitations of Offenders Act 1974. However, amendments to the Exceptions Order in 1975 (2013 & 2020) have made provisions for the protection of certain spent convictions and cautions. These are not subject to disclosure to employers and cannot be taken into account when considering applicants for a role.
