** Introducing Melksham’s New Park Yoga Instructor! **
Melksham Town Council are delighted to introduce our new Park Yoga instructor, Hannah Blueitt, who will be running free yoga sessions in King George V Playing Fields starting on Sunday 5th May 2024.
Hannah was appointed as part of a recruitment process conducted by the Town Council at the beginning of the year, following a unanimous resolution from the Community Development Committee on 11th December 2023, for Melksham Town Council to partner with Park Yoga to deliver free sessions in Melksham.
These free weekly yoga sessions will run every Sunday morning, 9:30am to 10:30am, from Sunday 5th May until Sunday 15th September 2024, and are for people of all ages and abilities. There is no need to book- just bring a mat, towel or blanket and some water and join in!
Hannah fell in love with yoga almost 15 years ago and believes that it is “a wonderful way to help people relax and find an inner peace.”
She says “I am excited to meet new people and to introduce them to the magic of yoga in a fun, playful and welcoming way. Classes are free, open to all and very relaxed, and I encourage you to come along and just observe at first if you feel unsure. I always tell people to take it at their own pace and that they are free to leave at any time if it feels too much in the moment. Everyone is very welcome to just turn up, be in the space, connect with their breath and their body, and go with the flow!”
Park Yoga’s mission statement is “to improve the health and well-being of the public by providing free yoga sessions in an open space for the public benefit. The beneficiaries will extend to those living throughout the UK regardless of age, disability, gender, or ethnicity.”
