Venue Hire Melksham Town Council

Melksham Town Council manages two venues - The Assembly Hall and the Town Hall. We are also responsible for Grounds Maintenance, Street Furniture, Public Toilets and all Council Land.

The newly refurbished Assembly Hall and its facilities are available for hire. In addition, the Town Hall has four rooms available for hire. The main Council Chamber is a grand and spacious hall that can seat around 60 people in a range of styles.

Melksham Assembly Hall venue hire

Melksham Assembly Hall is located behind the Town Hall, adjacent to the historic Market Place. The 450-capacity hall offers a high-quality, flexible venue for many events, including comedy shows, tribute acts, live music, cinema screenings, parties, trade show exhibitions, new exhibitions, and fayres.  It is also available for hire for private functions and events.

It is one of the largest and most versatile in Wiltshire and can host a range of functions from birthday parties to wedding receptions. The Main Hall and Lounge within the Assembly Hall and the associated bar and kitchen facilities are available for hire. Please contact our experienced hospitality team for details:

Town Hall venue hire

The Town Hall currently has two rooms available for hire; the main Council Chamber is a grand and spacious hall that can seat approximately 60 people in a range of styles whilst the Ante Room is more suitable as a board room for meetings and training courses. Both rooms have access to coffee making facilities in a kitchen, which can also be used to prepare small buffets.
