Abney and Baker – Social and Skills Club

The Social and Skills Club is a monthly community group held at That Meeting Space in Melksham, offering local residents a relaxed and friendly place to connect. Open to everyone, the club provides a variety of activities including bingo, quizzes, crafts, and board games, all designed to encourage conversation, creativity, and companionship.

Sessions are free to attend and no booking is required. Donations are welcome but not expected, ensuring the club remains accessible to all. The atmosphere is informal and inclusive, with people welcome to take part in activities or simply enjoy the company.

The club is organised by Abney & Baker Homecare and Support, who aim to create a true “third space” – somewhere that’s not work or home, where people can just be themselves and feel part of a community.
