Melksham Music and Drama

First we will give you a little insight into Melksham Music and Drama, formally known as “The Melksham Comedy Club”. The club/society was founded in 1969 and at the time was a a group of people that wanted to entertain audiences in and around Melksham.rnrnWe put on three shows a year, one panto in the early part of the year, then we start rehearsing for our next show which we perform in may and then straight into rehearsals for our September show.rnrnCurrently we have around 30 members but we are always looking for new talent and not just on stage, we also need people to work backstage, with lights, sound and stage management, we always welcome help with scenery preparation.rnrnA few of our members are keen script writers so we are often performing original shows and pantomimes. We always welcome new scripts and ideas so if you have any, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
