Founded by Mayna in 1984, the Melksham Tandoori as it was then known, became a beloved dining destination for those seeking authentic Indian flavours. In 2023, the restaurant reopened its doors, renovated, revitalised, and with a new name, The Tandoori, thanks to the passion and dedication of Mayna’s son, Sayeed. Sayeed brings a fresh perspective to The Tandoori’s menu, while staying true to the authentic flavours that lie at the heart of Indian culinary traditions.
