Melksham’s 2026 Spring Window Competition results have been announced.
Judging for Melksham’s Spring window competition took place on Wednesday 8th April 2026, with judges visiting the ten businesses along Melksham High Street.
Flowers in Focus was awarded first place, recognising the hand-crafted detail and care showcased in their display. Painted family portraits of rabbits, colourful chains of flowers, and an Easter themed giveaway could be found nestled among the window decorations.
Second place was awarded to The Hiding Place, whose window featured a hand drawn floral frame around illustrated pint glasses and decorated eggs spilling out of bottles. Their thoughtful design offered a personalised and creative nod to their business.
In third place, Nixon & Shaw Opticians lined their windowsill with delicate paper decorations. The display featured origami butterflies and bright daffodils, bringing a splash of Spring to Melksham.
On Tuesday 14th April 2026, Melksham’s Mayor, Saffi Rabey, visited Flowers in Focus to present them with a certificate and congratulate them on their winning entry.
Special recognition was also given to businesses which had beautiful painted windows by Sophie Aina Face Painting over the Easter period. Judges were delighted by the creativity and individuality in each painted design, all bringing colour to those walking or driving through Melksham’s high street.
