Melksham Open Gardens

‍The ladies of the Melksham branch of The Children’s Society committee are delighted to announce the return of the very popular Melksham Open Gardens event, and are looking for volunteers to open up their garden for visitors to enjoy and admire the fruits (and flowers) of their labours.

This event is an opportunity for local residents- especially those who are also entering the Melksham Gardens Competition- to share their hard work and beautiful creations, as well as raising money for the valuable work of The Children’s Society.

There will be a range of different gardens open to view, from small cottage type gardens to those with large sweeping lawns.

Cream teas will also be available from Place Road, as is tradition!

All arrangements will be made by the local committee of The Children’s Society including publicity, insurance, teas and ticket sales.
