Christmas Elf Trail

Running throughout December, Melksham Town Council’s Christmas Elf Trail encourages families to explore local shops and businesses during the festive season. This free activity invites participants to search for hidden elves, collect their names, and enter a prize draw.

In 2025, Santa’s elves escaped from the Town Hall while helping prepare the Christmas Grotto and hid in more than 60 local businesses. Families joined the hunt to track down the mischievous elves and help save Christmas. This year, they have vanished once again, and it’s up to you to find them!

Everyone who successfully completes the trail will be entered into a prize draw on Christmas Eve, with prizes generously donated by local businesses.

The trail launches at the Christmas Lights Switch On & Market, where printed maps can be collected from Melksham Town Hall. A downloadable activity sheet will also be available online.
