Following a unanimous resolution from the Asset Management and Amenities Committee on Monday 10th June 2024, Melksham Town Council have agreed to work in partnership with Melksham Forest Community Conversations, on two exciting new projects for the Melksham Forest Ward.
Melksham Forest Community Conversations is a resident-led community group, funded by Wiltshire Council's Community Conversations initiative.
Community Conversations Lead for Melksham Forest, Bridie Hanraads, approached Melksham Town Council to discuss the feasibility of creating a Melksham Forest Community Garden adjacent to the Forest Community Centre.
Melksham Town Council will also work alongside Melksham Forest Community Conversations and Wiltshire Council on the replacement of equipment in the Awdry Avenue Play Area.
